Hersh Goldsmith's Estate & Trust practice group delivers a broad range of services in Estate planning and the administration of estates and trusts. Our department represents individuals, fiduciaries and families desiring to perpetuate wealth for their heirs and to minimize taxes.

We provide planning for individuals and families focused on their personal goals as well as their desire to minimize taxes. Our partners serve as Executors and Trustees for clients wishing to maintain continuity in the implementation of their intent after they have created trust or after death. While all clients do have unique needs, there are some common aspects to all estate plans:

• maximize our clients legacies
• minimize income tax payments
• the naming of executors
• the transfer of assets quickly and efficiently
• ensuring liquidity to cover debts
• preventing the costs and delays associated with the probate of a will

Our department has the benefit of soliciting the advice of Business Advisory, Corporate and Tax partners in order to offer all the expertise needed to achieve a plan tailored to the needs of the client.
