Donald Hersh became a member of the Ordre Des Comptables Agrees du Quebec in 1961 and is also licensed as a CA in Ontario. He completed the first in-depth tax specialization course sponsored by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1967 to 1969. He lectured in accounting and taxation at McGill University between 1968 and 1972. He also lectured for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa as part of the continuing education program for lawyers and accountants. Donald has completed several courses in business valuations in Montreal, Toronto, Miami, Denver and Los Angeles. Mr. Hersh is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Donald has an extensive audit and consulting practice covering a wide range of industries and service businesses and has worked with nonprofit associations, religious organizations and charities as a volunteer and as a professional. Donald heads our litigation and forensic department providing valuations of private businesses for litigation, taxation, acquisition or sale purposes. He acts as an expert to prepare damage claims or critique others' claims and to support attorneys representing clients or insurers in damage, insurance claims and taxation matters. Martin Goldsmith graduated from Sir George Williams University with a Bachelor of Commerce in 1966. Two years later, he graduated from McGill University with a C.A. degree. Martin is a senior partner in Goldsmith Hersh, audit and accounting practice since 1969. Martin is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and is authorized to use the designation T.E.P. Martin handles a diverse client base in his audit and accounting practice, which is located in Montreal and Toronto. In addition, Martin has developed an Estate and Tax Planning practice which covers:
Martin has lectured in "Estate Planning" and has written a paper on this subject. Martin is involved in community work and for two consecutive years, he has raised over $100,000 per year for a camp for underprivileged children. He was awarded a "Certificate of Appreciation" on dedication day in August, 1999. In 1995, he received the President's "Award of Distinction" from his Synagogue in recognition of extraordinary dedication and exemplary leadership. Jack Rosenthal graduated from McGill University and received his CA in 1961. He has been a partner in the firm's audit and accounting practice since 1975. Jack advises a wide range of clients, with particular interest in:

Watson Woo received his Bachelor of Commerce from McGill university in 1980, his Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy in 1981, and became a CA in 1983. In 1998, Watson successfully completed the US reciprocity exam and became a Certified Public Accountant. Watson has been a partner at Goldsmith Hersh since 1989. He is currently the firms Partner in Charge of Human Resources and lectures frequently. Watson is involved in a wide range of business and in-house issues pertaining primarily to owner-managed businesses including the following:

Photios Dimopoulos received his Bachelor of commerce from Concordia University in 1987, his Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy in 1990 and became a CA in January of 1991. Photios has been with the firm since he graduated university in 1987. He also achieved his Certified Fraud Examiner designation in 1997.
Photios was the most recent partner to be admitted to partnership in 1999. He is currently head of the Sales Tax department and is one of two partners in charge of Human Resources. Photios is also involved in the handling of the firms public companies.

Photios is actively involved in youth soccer and is currently a community coach of 5 year old kids. Photios and his wife, Sophie, have two children Andi Selena and Evan Stephen. He enjoys playing ice hockey, basketball, golf and squash and is a serious comic collector.
